The Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Carnival 2025, themed “The Olympic Games,” is hitting its much-anticipated final week with a lineup of activities that mix tradition, spectacle, and the best international music.
From March 7th to 16th, the city turns into the perfect stage to say goodbye in style to one of the most spectacular editions in recent years.

Highlighted Events of the Final Week
Friday, March 7 kicks off this epic finale with the much-anticipated Drag Queen Gala, one of the most iconic events of the Canary Carnival that never fails to amaze with its stunning performances and creative designs. The party keeps going at night with a concert by Guaynaa at 12:30 AM, shaking up the stage at Manuel Becerra.



Saturday the 8th is a double celebration day! In the afternoon, the amazing Nia Correia from Gran Canaria, winner of Operación Triunfo 2020, will take the stage at 6:30 PM, followed by the Puerto Rican superstar Olga Tañón at 8:30 PM, both in the Plaza de Canarias. These concerts are the perfect kickoff for a carnival night that goes on until 5:00 AM!

Sunday the 9th is all about Family Carnival and the Gala of Allegories, wrapping up with a performance by the legendary Wilfrido Vargas at 8:00 PM. Get ready for a night filled with merengue and Caribbean beats that’ll light up the square!
On Thursday the 13th, we’re celebrating the Carnival of Integration, an event that really emphasizes the inclusive vibe of this festival, making sure everyone can fully enjoy the celebrations.
On Friday the 14th, one of the most awaited moments is here with Maluma’s concert at 8:30 PM in Santa Catalina. It’s gonna be an unforgettable show that’ll draw in thousands of people!



The big show continues on Saturday the 15th with the spectacular Grand Parade, followed by an exciting day of Carnival and a night of partying with special performances from Luck Ra and Tito “El Bambino” on the Manuel Becerra stage.
The send-off happens on Sunday the 16th with a super special morning featuring an exciting widow marathon, wrapping up with the traditional Entierro de la Sardina, the heartfelt ritual that marks the end of the festivities.



Day and Night Carnival
Over the next few days, you can dive into the final three days of Carnaval de Día, where the streets of Las Palmas turn into a non-stop party filled with music, dance, and vibrant colors under the sunny Canary skies.
At night, the party ramps up with stages all over the city, featuring performances that go until the early hours: until 4:00 AM on Fridays and 5:00 AM on Saturdays, creating an unbeatable festive atmosphere.
