What's the Nest Long Stay?

The Nest Long Stay gives you 30 consecutive nights at one Nest hostel in Tenerife or Gran Canaria. Pick your spot, unpack once, and actually settle in — no hopping between hostels, no constant packing and repacking. It's the opposite of "passing through." This is for when you've found your place and you're ready to stay.

Unlike the Nest Pass Week, which is all about flexibility and exploring different cities, the Long Stay is about putting down roots for a month. Same bed, same crew, same neighborhood coffee spot.

How to book your Long Stay

1

Pick your Nest

Browse our hostels in Tenerife and Gran Canaria and choose the one that fits your vibe.

2

Book online

Secure your 30 nights directly through our website. No middlemen, no booking fees.

3

Show up and live

Check in, unpack, and start your month. That's it. No paperwork, no fuss.

Who's the Long Stay for?

Seasonal Workers

Working a season in the Canaries?

Tourism jobs, remote contracts, internships — you need somewhere affordable that isn't a sketchy flat share with a two-month deposit. Sorted.

Digital Nomads

Digital nomad who's done moving around?

You've seen the islands, you've picked your favorite spot. Now you want fast WiFi, a coworking space, and a routine that doesn't involve packing a bag every week.

Extended Travelers

Just not ready to leave yet?

We get it. One week turned into two, two turned into "honestly I could live here." The Long Stay is how you make that happen without breaking the bank.

Why choose Long Stay over a rental?

Renting in the Canaries sounds simple until you're dealing with two-month deposits, utility contracts in Spanish, dodgy landlords, and minimum 6-month leases. The Long Stay skips all of that.

What you get

  • 30 nights, all-inclusive — no surprise bills
  • Fast WiFi and coworking space for remote work
  • Fully equipped kitchen (cook your own meals, save even more)
  • Common areas, terraces, BBQ — the good stuff
  • A built-in community of people your age
  • No deposits, no contracts, no paperwork headaches

What you don't deal with

  • Security deposits
  • Utility bills
  • Rental contracts
  • Minimum stay beyond 30 nights
  • Furnishing an empty flat
Pricing

How much does it cost?

Prices vary by location — hostels in busier areas cost a bit more, quieter spots are more affordable. All prices are per month (30 nights), low season (May–October).

All rates include WiFi, coworking, kitchen access, common areas, and all hostel amenities. Shared dorm rooms only.

Destinations

Live in any Nest, switch when you want

The fine print, honest

Four things we want you to know.

  • Shared dorm rooms only

The Long Stay applies to shared dorms, not private rooms.

  • Pay month by month

No huge upfront commitment. You pay for the month, decide at the end if you’re extending. Flexible by design.

  • One hostel, settled in

Long Stay is for putting down roots in one Nest — not hopping between them like the Nest Pass. Pick your favourite, unpack once, make it yours for the month.

  • Tenerife + Gran Canaria only

Ibiza hostels are not included in the Long Stay programme.

No — the Long Stay is tied to the hostel you book. If you want to move between Nests, check out the Nest Pass Week instead.

No, it's non-transferable and non-refundable.

No. The Long Stay and Nest Pass are separate products. The Long Stay doesn't include inter-hostel mobility.

All bookings are subject to availability — we recommend booking early, especially for popular hostels like Duque or Las Palmas.

Your bed in a shared dorm, WiFi, coworking space, kitchen access, common areas, terraces, and all standard hostel amenities. Basically everything except your groceries.

The Long Stay is exactly 30 nights. For shorter stays (7+ nights), check the Nest Pass Week. For regular bookings, just book directly at any hostel.
