Ashavana Nest is literally right by the sea, in El Médano: the chillest, most bohemian town in the south of Tenerife. You walk out the door and in less than a minute, you’re on Playa Chica (yep, just 60 meters away). The big beach in El Médano? Just a 3-minute walk. 🏖️

The wind blows almost every day, so this is the mecca for windsurfing and kitesurfing in Europe—it doesn’t matter if you’ve been on the water for years or if you’ve never stepped on a board. And the rooftop is the heart of the place: tables for remote work during the day, sofas for lounging around, and when the sun sets, it’s the perfect spot for outdoor dining (bring your drink) and watch Montaña Roja turn orange.

What’s the best way to get here? Tenerife South Airport is just 4 km away. You land, grab a short bus or taxi, and before you know it, you’re dropping your backpack by the sea. 🎒

    I really liked staying at Arena Nest Hostel. The Hostel is very beautiful and the people are really friendly. The location is very nice. I liked the breakfast with the homemade bread. The staff is very nice and helpful. The bathrooms were always clean.

Check-in is from 2:00 PM and check-out is until 11:00 AM. If you arrive earlier or leave later, message us and we'll do our best to help.

Bed linen is always included and your bed is made on arrival. Towels can be rented at reception, or you're welcome to bring your own.

You must be at least 18 to book a bed in a shared dorm/private room.

We don't usually ask for a deposit. If one applies to a specific room type or group booking, we'll let you know before you arrive.

Parking varies by hostel. Message us and we'll point you to the nearest parking options for your destination.
