The Best Music Festivals in Tenerife 2026 — Full Calendar, Dates and Everything You Need to Know

Tenerife doesn’t have a festival season. It has a festival year. From a world-class classical music programme in January to a flagship electronic blowout in August and a rock-indie weekend in late October, the island runs a genuinely stacked 12-month calendar that most of Europe is still sleeping on. 🌊🎶

This guide holds 95 events in one calendar you can filter: everything still to come in 2026, the first dates announced for 2027, and a look back at the year so far. Each date says whether it is confirmed or provisional, so you know what you are booking around. 🏖️

Arona Folk Fest 🪗

Every Thursday afternoon the Plaza de La Pescadora in Los Cristianos turns into a craft and food market with Canarian folk groups playing live. The new season runs all winter, with four extra dates just before Christmas, and it costs nothing.

Jazz en el Mercado, Puerto de la Cruz 🎷

Puerto de la Cruz celebrates 40 years of its municipal market with free Friday-evening jazz between the stalls. Two dates are left: La Cofradía first, then the Alex Janssen Trío a week later.

elrow Tenerife XXL 🎭

The loudest, most colourful day of the Tenerife autumn is back at Golf Costa Adeje: nine hours, two stages and the confetti-cannon chaos elrow is famous for. The Rowsmic Carnival stage brings Ilario Alicante, Wade and Joris Voorn; the harder Nowmads stage has 6EJOU live and Fatima Hajji.

It is a Farra World production, so expect the same big-festival build the island saw at Sunblast in August. Tickets were already on their last general tier when we checked, so this is not one to leave for the door.

Festival Keroxen, closing night 🛢️

Keroxen is the island’s home for experimental music, and it happens inside a former oil tank. The 18th edition closes its Tenerife run at Espacio Cultural El Tanque in Santa Cruz with Muqata’a and Fairouz Hasan, Praed and Agua Dulce. If elrow is not your thing, this is the other great plan for the same Saturday.

Los + Santos Off Fest closing 🌙

When elrow switches off at midnight, the night moves to Magma Arte & Congresos in Costa Adeje. The organiser bills this closing as the after-party to elrow, with Joshwa, Los Canarios and Fede Aliprandi.

Las Rocas Beach Club: the season closing with Wade 🌊

Farra on the Beach has been the sunset session of the south all summer, with Gordo, Mochakk and Mëstiza on a terrace right above the Atlantic. The 2026 season ends here: Wade plays the closing, the day after his elrow set.

Monkey Beach Club: El Cierre 🐒

Playa de las Américas says goodbye to its Sunday beach-party season with De La Swing and Karretero. The club itself stays open; it is the open-air Sundays that end here.

Eólica Festival 🌬️

The comeback of the season. Eólica returns after more than a decade away, and it does it at the ITER, the renewable-energy park in Granadilla. The numbers are serious: 68 artists on four stages across two days.

Friday belongs to Jayda G, Hunee, Horse Meat Disco and TSHA; Saturday to WhoMadeWho, Âme live, Octo Octa and Eris Drew. It is the big one for anyone staying in the south-east of the island.

Trueno 🎤

The Argentinian rapper plays the Campo de Fútbol Tasagaya in Güímar, on what is billed as his only date in the Canary Islands. It falls on the first night of Eólica, so choose your Friday.

Miguel Ríos: El Último Vals 🎸

A founding father of Spanish rock brings El Último Vals to the Pabellón Santiago Martín in La Laguna. This is the rescheduled date: the venue says the original night was postponed for health reasons.

Starmus VIII: science meets rock 🔭

Picture a festival where Brian May, Andrea Bocelli, Sarah Brightman and Rick Wakeman share the bill with Nobel laureates and the crew of Artemis II. Starmus is back on Tenerife for its eighth edition.

It opens with a concert and medals ceremony in Santa Cruz, continues with a Rick Wakeman world premiere at the Pirámide de Arona, runs three days of talks there, and closes on La Palma.

Festival Periplo ✍️

A week of travel and adventure writing by the sea pools of Lago Martiánez in Puerto de la Cruz. A festival about journeys, in a town that has been welcoming travellers for well over a century.

Tenerife Peñón Fest 🤘

Two days of Spanish rock and indie beside the Palmetum, on the Santa Cruz seafront. The 9th edition promises more days, more artists and more hours of music: Loquillo and Pignoise lead Friday, Amaia, La La Love You and Carlos Sadness take Saturday.

The festival has been at home in Santa Cruz since 2024, a short walk along the seafront from the Auditorio.

La Oreja de Van Gogh 🎶

The Tantas cosas que contar tour lands at the Campo de Fútbol de Adeje, one night after Gran Canaria. One of the best-loved pop bands in Spanish, in the open air, in the south.

DJ Symphonic 🎻

A DJ and a full orchestra share the stage of the Auditorio de Tenerife, Calatrava’s white wave on the Santa Cruz waterfront. Seated, two sessions on the same Sunday.

Hijos de la Ruina: Natos y Waor with Recycled J 🎃

Halloween night in Santa Cruz has a rap headline. Natos y Waor and Recycled J bring the Hijos de la Ruina show to the Palmetum esplanade, doors in the afternoon.

Festival Isla Calavera 💀

Ten days of fantasy and horror cinema in La Laguna, and a 10th edition with real cult guests: Christopher Lambert, Tom Berenger and Lloyd Kaufman. Screenings are at Multicines Tenerife, the galas at the Teatro Leal.

Ritmos Handmade 🥁

Puerto de la Cruz hosts the 9th edition of its international percussion festival at Lago Martiánez. The town hall has confirmed the dates; the programme is still to come.

Servando y Florentino 💃

The Venezuelan brothers bring their Latin pop to the Palmetum in Santa Cruz.

Pedro Pastor 🎸

Ten years of Locos Descalzos, celebrated in a small room: the singer-songwriter plays Sala Gekko in Santa Cruz.

Raíces Brasil Fest 🇧🇷

A full afternoon and evening of Brazilian music at the Palmetum, in its 2nd edition and at one of the friendliest prices on this calendar.

Tenerife en Salsa: Los Van Van 🎺

Cuban royalty on the Puerto de la Cruz harbour esplanade. Los Van Van headline a salsa night by the sea, on the same spot where Phe Festival plays in September.

Sergio Dalma 🎙️

Ritorno a Via Dalma, his album of Italian classics, live at the Pabellón Santiago Martín in La Laguna.

Tenerife Spartan Weekend 💪

Not a concert, but worth a trip: two days of obstacle races that start by the harbour in Puerto de la Cruz. You run it, you do not watch it.

Canarias Calling 🧷

A punk and underground night at Aguere Cultural in La Laguna, with Pumuky and Die Verlierer.

Blackworks Festival Tenerife 🖤

Hard techno through the night at Magma Arte & Congresos in Costa Adeje. Blackworks has the date and the hours on its own site; the line-up is still under wraps.

Alex Ubago 🎹

Twenty-five years of ¿Qué pides tú?, celebrated at the Auditorio de Tenerife.

El Kanka 🎵

The singer-songwriter from Málaga, wit and guitar, in the Auditorio de Tenerife the Saturday before Christmas.

Rock Music Festival 🤟

A December afternoon of rock at the Palmetum in Santa Cruz, with Sôber as the headline name on the ticket page.

El fantasma de la ópera 🎭

The touring production of the musical takes over the Auditorio de Tenerife between Christmas and Reyes: ten performances on the Santa Cruz waterfront.

The first dates of next year are already public. These 6 are confirmed by their organiser or venue; a few more, still provisional, are in the calendar above.

Festival Internacional de Música de Canarias 2027 🎻

Europe’s symphonic year opens in the Canaries again. The 43rd edition brings the Royal Concertgebouw with Klaus Mäkelä, the London Philharmonic, the Vienna Symphony with María Dueñas and soprano Nadine Sierra to Tenerife.

Carnaval de Santa Cruz de Tenerife 2027 🎉

The biggest party on the island has its dates and its theme: “Roma Eterna: El Imperio del Carnaval”. Note the calendar: in 2027 it runs two weeks later than usual, because the Recinto Ferial is busy until early January.

The street carnival is the last ten days. The Gala de la Reina, the opening Cabalgata, two Carnaval de Día dates and the Coso parade are all in the official programme.

Red Bull Batalla: Final Nacional 🎤

Spain’s freestyle rap final comes to Siam Park in Costa Adeje: the country’s best improvisers, one night, inside a water park.

Salvador Sobral 🎙️

The Portuguese Eurovision winner presents A Flor do Recomeço in the Teatro Leal, the jewel-box theatre of La Laguna.

MUECA 2027: the 25th anniversary 🎪

Four days of street theatre, circus, dance and music all over Puerto de la Cruz, and in 2027 it is the 25th-anniversary edition. Still free.

Noctámbula 2027 ⚡

After a first edition that drew more than 5,000 people, Noctámbula has already put its second on sale at the Recinto Ferial in Santa Cruz.

Farra World Tenerife 2026: the season umbrella explained 🎧

If you keep seeing “Farra World” next to every major electronic event in South Tenerife, here’s what that actually means. Farra World is the production company behind most of the big electronic dates on the island. Its 2026 season lists Lost Nomads, La Misa, Sunblast, elrow XXL and the Las Rocas Beach Club sessions, plus BRESH and, together with New Event, the Tenerife Music Festival.

For travelers, that’s genuinely useful to know: most of those dates happen at Golf Costa Adeje or Las Rocas, so one smart base in Costa Adeje covers them without needing to relocate. You’re not building a separate trip for each event. You’re building one South Tenerife base and plugging in dates as they’re confirmed.

Festival Internacional de Música de Canarias 🎻

The Tenerife year opened with its most prestigious programme: the 42nd FIMC, 61 concerts on eight islands. The Tenerife programme was built around the Auditorio de Tenerife, Santiago Calatrava’s concert hall on the Santa Cruz waterfront: the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra under Paavo Järvi, Sol Gabetta with the Bamberg Symphony, Arcadi Volodos, and a closing night by Snarky Puppy with the Metropole Orkest.

Fito & Fitipaldis: Aullidos Tour 🎸

One of Spain’s best-loved rock bands was scheduled to play the Recinto Ferial in Santa Cruz on its Aullidos Tour, a date that sold out through Ticketmaster and Live Nation.

Laura Pausini: Yo Canto World Tour 🎤

More than 9,500 people filled the Estadio Antonio Domínguez in Playa de las Américas for Laura Pausini’s first ever concert on Tenerife, the only Canary Islands date of the tour.

Lost Nomads Tenerife 🔥

After editions in Marrakech and Dubai, Lost Nomads held its first Tenerife edition at Golf Costa Adeje: nine hours from afternoon sun to midnight, with Pawsa and DJ Tennis on top of the bill.

MUECA Street Arts Festival 🎪

The 24th MUECA turned the streets and squares of Puerto de la Cruz into one big stage for four days: 44 companies, 105 performances, almost all of them free. Next year is the 25th anniversary, and the dates are already out.

BRESH Tenerife 💖

“La fiesta más linda del mundo”, born in Buenos Aires in 2016, took over the Parque Marítimo César Manrique in Santa Cruz: an afternoon of reggaeton, pop and confetti beside the sea pools.

Tenerife Music Festival 🎵

The festival at the port of Santa Cruz was planned as two days and played one. Friday was cancelled: the port authority withdrew the permit once the emergency plan for Pope Leo XIV’s visit was activated; on Saturday Pablo Alborán, Ana Mena, Iván Ferreiro and Camilo played, the last in what was billed as his only concert in Spain in 2026.

Noche de San Juan 🔥

The shortest night of the year is a beach night. The official bonfires burned at Los Cristianos, Las Galletas, El Médano, Los Abrigos, Playa Jardín and Puerto de Santiago, and about 5,000 people gathered at Playa Jardín in Puerto de la Cruz alone. Free, every year, on the same night.

La Misa 🖤

Farra World’s cult techno gathering came back to Golf Costa Adeje with an all-black dress code and Michael Bibi at the altar. Carl Cox and Marco Carola headlined the first two editions, which tells you the level.

Festival Internacional Canarias Jazz & Más 🎷

The 35th edition spread across 11 venues on Tenerife, from the Auditorio to open-air squares in La Laguna, Adeje and Puerto de la Cruz. The night everyone talked about was Jacob Collier with the Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria; Tigran Hamasyan, Yellowjackets and Roberto Fonseca played too.

Sting: STING 3.0 World Tour 🎸

Sting played the Palmetum in trio format with Dominic Miller and Chris Maas, the night after his Gran Canaria date. An open-air night by the Santa Cruz seafront.

Sunblast Festival 🚀

The flagship of the Tenerife summer: more than 45 artists on seven stages at Golf Costa Adeje, with James Hype, Indira Paganotto, Wilkinson and Mochakk. The organiser calls it the largest electronic festival in the Canary Islands, and from inside the crowd it is hard to argue.

Tenerife Phe Festival 🎸

The 11th Phe put its most international line-up yet on the harbour esplanade of Puerto de la Cruz: Fat Dog, Getdown Services and Ibibio Sound Machine alongside Carlos Ares, Barry B and Rufus T. Firefly, on three stages. The organiser has already said “see you in 2027”.

Noctámbula Festival ⚡

A debut that landed. More than 5,000 people came to the Recinto Ferial in Santa Cruz for Tomorrowland’s Symphony of Unity, MEDUZA and Indira Paganotto on three stages. The 2027 edition is already on sale.
