Imagine spending a day among ziplines, high ropes, and Tarzan swings in the treetops, at 1400 meters above sea level and right in the heart of a protected area of the National Park of Teide. Whether you’re a pro at adventure parks or trying it for the first time, action and fun are totally guaranteed.
In the pine tree forest of Las Lagunetas, right by Teide National Park and only 16 km from San Cristóbal de La Laguna, Tenerife Forestal Park is an absolute gem on the island. You’ll find 11 ziplines here, including the longest one in the Canaries at 230 meters! Get ready for dozens of suspended bridges among the trees, plus giant rope “spider webs” and ladders that let you climb up and soak in the views, all while enjoying the fresh pine scent and the peaceful vibes of the forest.
What makes this adventure park stand out is its extreme safety and organization, so you can just kick back and enjoy all the activities without a care in the world. You’ll need to book ahead (check out the official reservation page here, and the price list here), where you’ll get all the info you need on how to prep and what to bring. When you arrive, the team will gear you up with a helmet, harness, and carabiners, then walk you through (in English or Spanish) how to use the gear properly and stay connected to the safety system at all times.
After the briefing, you’ll kick things off with an initiation circuit, designed to help you practice everything you just learned about climbing, crossing obstacles, and ziplining, until you feel comfy and confident with the gear. Once you’re feeling good, you can roam the park for the rest of your 3 hours and dive into the activities you prefer.
You can pick from a bunch of circuits with different levels of challenge and altitude, each named after a different Canary Island. These attractions are split into two groups: the family circuit and the sport circuit. The first one is made for kids, which is why it’s super popular with local families and schools. The second group is for teens and adults looking for more adrenaline, featuring crossings that go up to a height of 30 meters. If you love heights, you’ll totally dig it here… and if you’re a bit scared of heights, this might be your chance to face that fear since the first circuits start really low, and you’ll feel safe and supported the whole time. You gotta try it to believe it!
Groups of at least 10 people can pick any date, even outside our regular opening days (Fri-Sat-Sun), for a more private vibe or to celebrate a special event.
