Snorkeling and Canarian food in Puertito de Adeje with a sunset view of Teide

Hey there! I’m Andrea, and I’m excited to welcome you to my island tours to discover the most beautiful and typical spots in Tenerife! I’ve been exploring the island for six months, hunting for the secret wonders of this magical place and organizing over 50 amazing trips in that time! Let’s go on an adventure together to uncover the hidden gems of Tenerife! 🗾

We’ll kick things off with a visit to El puertito de Armenime, one of the best spots on the island for snorkeling (I’ll provide masks for everyone) and one of the most authentic places around, where you can easily see schools of fish swimming so close to your mask that you can almost touch them, along with sea cucumbers, octopuses, and even turtles. 🐢😱 We’ll also grab lunch 😋 at “bodegón Lola y Pepe,” a super typical Canarian tapas bar right by the sea, where you can enjoy croquettes (cod croquettes), crab legs, octopus salad, and many other specialties (and they’ve got the best mojos, which are Canarian sauces!). The prices are cheap and the food is fantastic! 🥘🦀🐟

Next, we’ll head to Teide National Park, where we’ll stroll around the different viewpoints, and I’ll share the history and surroundings of this majestic giant that is home to Tenerife. Saving the best for last, we’ll catch the sunset 🌄 and have a picnic 🍞🧀🥓 at one of the most spectacular spots on the island, the Mirador de Samara! 👁️👁️

Located next to Teide National Park, it’s one of the most impressive tourist spots and super easy to reach, with just a 15-minute walk! Comfortable shoes (sneakers 👟 are fine), a thick sweater, jacket, and long pants are recommended because it gets chilly fast up here at 2000 meters!

We’ll be sitting on the edge of the island at the crater of the last eruption, where on clear days you can see the islands of La Gomera, Las Palmas, and El Hierro while we enjoy our picnic and wait for the sun to set. Right behind La Gomera! 🗾
