Snorkeling and canarian food at Puertito de Adeje with sunset on Teide

Meet one of the most beautiful places to snorkel in Tenerife, eat at a local "Chiringuito" (tapas bar) and then watch the sunset over the breathtaking Teide National Park. I, Andrea, will guide you, explaining the history.

Hi! I'm Andrea, and I welcome you to my routes around the island, to know the most beautiful and typical places of Tenerife! I've been exploring the island for six months, looking for the secret wonders of this magical island and organizing more than 50 amazing trips in that time! Let's go together on a trip to discover the hidden corners of Tenerife! 🗾

We will start with a visit to El puertito de Armenime, which is one of the best places on the island for snorkeling (I will provide masks for everyone) and one of the most authentic places on the island, where it is easy to see schools of fish swimming so close to your mask that you can almost touch them, sea cucumbers, octopus and even turtles. 🐢😱 There we will also have lunch 😋 at the "bodegón Lola y Pepe", a very typical Canarian tapas bar right in front of the sea, where you can eat croquetas (cod croquettes), crab legs, salpicón de pulpo (octopus salad) and many other specialties (and they have the best mojos, which are Canarian sauces!). The prices are cheap and the food is great! 🥘🦀🐟

Next, we will leave to visit the Teide National Park, where we will take a walk through the different viewpoints, and I will explain you the environment and the history of this majestic giant that is the home of Tenerife. Saving the best for last, we will go to see the sunset 🌄 and have a picnic 🍞🧀🥓 in one of the most spectacular places on the island, El Mirador de Samara! 👁️👁️

Located next to El Teide national park, it is one of the most impressive tourist spots and is easy to reach, just a 15 minute walk! Comfortable shoes (sneakers 👟 are fine), thick sweater, jacket and long pants are recommended, it gets cold fast as it is at 2000 mt!

There we will be sitting on top of the crater of the last eruption on the edge of the island, where on clear days it is possible to see the islands of La Gomera, Las Palmas and El Hierro, while we eat our picnic and wait for the sun to go down. down behind La Gomera! 🗾
