Cliffs of Los Gigantes, one of the most breathtaking spots in Tenerife!
We kick things off in Los Gigantes, where the cliffs rise up to 600 meters above the Atlantic Ocean. This stunning natural backdrop is perfect for adventure and nature lovers. From here, you can hop on boat trips to spot dolphins and whales, or dive into water sports like kayaking and snorkeling. It’s all part of the Teno Rural Park, a spot rich in biodiversity with tons of endemic species.
The vertical cliffs you see today are the result of relentless erosion and the powerful waves that have carved away at the cliffs, pulling back the coastline and revealing the colossal views of Los Gigantes.
For the first inhabitants of Tenerife, the world ended at the western tip of the island, where an impassable rock wall stood tall. That’s what we now call the Los Gigantes cliffs.
