Tenerife south:
- Passion of Christ in Adeje 29 March 12:00 Don't miss the opportunity to experience this moving theatrical performance that captures the last moments of Christ's life, performed with fervor by local residents.
The Passion has been performed in Adeje since 1995, initially as a small theater play, a popular initiative.
This play now involves more than 300 people, amateur actors and actresses from the municipality, and is performed every Good Friday at noon.
The theatrical representation that takes place in Adeje's Calle Grande is an emotional journey that narrates the most significant moments of the last week of Jesus, from his triumphal entry into Jerusalem to his last supper, passing through the prayer in the garden, the trial before the Sanhedrin, the appearance before Pilate and Herod, the Way of the Cross, until the crucifixion and death.
This emotional play can be experienced live in Adeje or followed from the comfort of home through live broadcasts on television and social media platforms.
Magna Procession in La Laguna
- Magna Procession in La Laguna Friday, March 29 at 5 p.m.: Participate in the solemn procession that transforms the streets into a tapestry of devotion and color, where the brotherhoods parade in a scene that seems to be from another time.
The Magna Procession will take place at the Sanctuary of St. Christ of La Laguna at 17:00 hours, after the transfer of the Deceased Lord to the Cathedral of La Laguna. In it, the processional steps will parade following a catechetical order that will narrate the events of the Passion and Death of Jesus.
Procession of Silence
- Good Friday (March 29 at 10 p.m.) In La Laguna, experience the powerful silence of this procession, illuminated only by candles.
The Procession of Silence begins its march in the Holy Church Cathedral , one of the most awaited moments of the Holy Week of La Laguna, will begin at 22:00 hours. All the brotherhoods and penitential brotherhoods of the city will participate in this act, accompanying the Holy Deceased Christ. The image will be carried on shoulders by the Brotherhood of Penitents of Mercy to the Parish of Santo Domingo de Guzman, where the kissing will be held. In the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary of Valle de Guerra, at 7:00 p.m. the procession of the Holy Burial will take place and at 10:00 p.m. the procession of the Solitude.
The Good Friday processions "EL ENCUENTRO" are celebrated in all the cities of the island,

Santa Cruz de Tenerife: The Procession of the Encounter is celebrated on Good Friday at 7:00 pm.exclamation It leaves the Matriz de la Concepción Parish Church and goes to the Plaza del Príncipe, where the encounter between the image of Jesus the Nazarene and the Virgin of the Bitterness takes place.
La Laguna: The Procession of the Encounter is celebrated on Good Friday at 04:00 am.expand_more It leaves the Church of the Conception and goes to the Plaza del Cristo, where the encounter between the image of the Holy Christ of La Laguna and the Virgin of Sorrows takes place.
Garachico: The Procession of the Encounter is celebrated on Good Friday at 18:00 hours. It leaves from the Church of Santa Ana and heads to the Plaza de la Libertad, where the encounter between the image of Jesus Nazareno and the Virgen de la Amargura takes place.
Icod de los Vinos: The Procession of the Encounter is held on Good Friday at 7:00 p.m.exclamation It leaves the Church of San Francisco and goes to the Plaza de la Pila, where the encounter between the image of Jesus Nazarene and the Virgin of Mercy takes place.
La Orotava:
Procession of the Glorious Encounter: It is celebrated on Easter Sunday at 10:00 am. It leaves the Church of the Conception and goes to the Town Hall Square, where the meeting between the images of the Resurrected Jesus and the Virgin of the Conception takes place.
Other processions: La Orotava also celebrates other processions during Holy Week, such as the Procession of Silence (Maundy Thursday) and the Procession of the Stations of the Cross (Good Friday).
San Isidro:
Procession of the Holy Burial: It is celebrated on Good Friday at 19:00 hours. It leaves from the Church of San Isidro Labrador and goes through the streets of the town.
Other processions: San Isidro also celebrates other processions during Holy Week, such as the Procession of the Palms (Palm Sunday) and the Procession of the Nazarene (Maundy Thursday).
