FIMAR 2024

Are you wondering what you should know about Gran Canaria?
The International Sea Fair is a must-visit regional event for the nautical and marine-maritime sectors in the Canary Islands.
The fair, organized by the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, the Ayuntamiento de Las Palmas, and the Port Authority of Las Palmas, is put together by the City of Sea department and Infecar, Feria de Gran Canaria.
In this 13th edition, around 50 exhibitors and 80 stands showcased the grand opening of FIMAR.
FIMAR took place from June 7th to 9th at the Sanapú Dock area, right between the Onda Atlántica Walkway and the Poema del Mar Aquarium.
The International Sea Fair has a new location, featuring a program that highlights and expands on the main attractions from previous events.
Boat tours are scheduled inside the Port at 11:00, 13:00, 15:30, and 17:30 on Friday the 7th and Saturday the 8th. On Sunday, they’re at 11:00 and 13:00. Don’t miss out on this awesome experience!
The International Sea Fair is happening at the same time as the celebration of the World Oceans Day on Saturday, June 8th. This event totally aligns with the fair’s mission, which is all about sharing knowledge and raising awareness about the scientific insights we’ve gathered about our oceans.
The event wrapped up with a lively performance by the band Los Coquillos and a fun parade, making it clear that FIMAR is still a must-visit for promoting the blue economy and maritime culture in Gran Canaria.
