In the majestic town of Garachico in the North of Tenerife, the 26th edition of FICMEC is happening!
The International Environmental Film Festival of the Canary Islands (Ficmec) takes place from Tuesday, May 28 to Sunday, June 2 in the town of Garachico.
You’ll get to enjoy an awesome lineup during the six days of the 26th edition of Ficmec, with films from 22 countries! There are eleven feature films and eight short films competing in the official section, so there’s plenty to check out from all around the globe!
The ‘Ecoislas’ section of the Canary Islands Environmental Film Festival is showcasing three films this Thursday, directed by Pedro Felipe Acosta, Pablo Borges, and Pablo Vilas.
The festival also features the Bernegal concert, a unique experience brought to you by the Garachico Musical Group, the Bengara Cultural Association, Tenerife filmmaker Dailo Barco, and the Canary Film Archive. The show includes a fusion concert that blends folk tunes with performances from local municipal bands.
