When the streamers and confetti settle in Santa Cruz, the carnival spirit moves south to Tenerife. The Costa Adeje Carnival 2025 is coming in strong from March 20 to 31, giving locals and tourists a second chance to dive into the most colorful party of the year.

A Carnival with Its Own Flavor
Costa Adeje, one of the top tourist spots in Tenerife, is gearing up for its own carnival with a unique vibe. This year’s theme is “Venezuela: Color, Rhythm, and Joy,” promising to fill the streets with vibrant colors, Caribbean music, and loads of Latin energy.

The celebration kicks off on Thursday, March 20th with the official opening and unfolds over more than ten days packed with activities for everyone.



Some of the most awaited events include:
- The Announcing Parade that takes you through the main avenues
- The Murgas Gathering with its witty lyrics and eye-catching costumes
- Daytime Carnival, perfect for family fun!
- The much-anticipated Carnival Beach Route!
- The spectacular Coso Apoteosis del Carnaval on March 30th!
- And to top it all off, the traditional Burial of the Sardine on March 31st!
A Carnival for Everyone
What makes the Carnival of Costa Adeje so special is its family-friendly vibe and the chance to enjoy the festivities in a stunning setting of beaches and great weather. The main Carnival venue (right in front of the Valdés Center) hosts most of the nighttime events, while the daytime activities spread across different areas of Los Cristianos and Las Américas.
All the events are free, making these parties the perfect way to enjoy yourself without worrying about your budget.
