Ibiza All Events July 2026 — Peak Season Part 1: RESISTANCE, Garrix & the Fiestas

July is when Ibiza hits maximum velocity. Every residency is running, every flight is full, every taxi has a queue, and the island vibrates with a 24-hour energy that doesn’t let up for 31 days straight. This is the month when RESISTANCE launches its legendary techno Wednesdays at Amnesia (with Adam Beyer, Boris Brejcha, and Eric Prydz), when Martin Garrix begins his 11th Ushuaïa season, and when Calvin Harris doubles up with Tuesday AND Friday shows. 🔊🌴

But July isn’t all bass drops and laser shows. The island’s cultural calendar delivers some of its most spectacular moments: the Fiestas de la Virgen del Carmen sees a flotilla of decorated boats carrying the patron saint of fishermen across the harbour, little Es Canar throws its biggest village fiesta of the year, and the Festes de la Terra — Ibiza Town’s two-week patron-saint blowout — kicks off as July ends with fireworks over the port that rival anything the clubs can produce.

Fair warning: July is peak season. Accommodation is at its most expensive, clubs are at capacity, and the island’s population triples. But the energy is undeniable — and with the right planning, July in Ibiza is everything the hype promises. Here’s your complete guide. ☀️

🎆 Martin Garrix at Ushuaïa — Thursdays from July 2

Martin Garrix at Ushuaïa

It’s hard to overstate what Martin Garrix means to Ushuaïa. This is his 11th season — he’s now well into his second decade at the venue, a residency that started when he was basically a teenager and has grown into one of the defining partnerships in Ibiza nightlife. The Thursday night slot at Ushuaïa is his kingdom: massive LED walls, pyrotechnics, CO2 cannons, and a crowd that knows every drop of every track.

Garrix’s sets have evolved significantly over the years — still big-room at heart, but with more progressive house and melodic moments than the early days. The daytime Ushuaïa format (5pm–11pm) means you’re experiencing this in golden-hour sunlight, which adds a cinematic quality that indoor clubs can’t match. Tickets from ~€85. 🌅

📅 When: Every Thursday, July 2 – September 24, 2026 (13 weeks, 5pm–11pm)

📍 Where: Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, Playa d’en Bossa

🎵 Type: Progressive House / EDM / Big Room

⚡ Calvin Harris — Tuesday Sessions at Ushuaïa Begin July 7

Calvin Harris — Tuesday Sessions at Ushuaïa Begin July 7

As if Fridays weren’t enough, Calvin Harris adds a second weekly Ushuaïa slot from July 7 through August 25 — eight Tuesday dates on top of his Friday residency. That makes him the only artist with two weekly shows at the same venue in 2026. Expect a rotating cast of support across the Tuesdays too, with names like Armand Van Helden, Diplo, Pete Tong, Nic Fanciulli and Chris Lorenzo in the mix.

The Tuesday shows are essentially the same format as Fridays (5pm–11pm, open-air pool setting, full production), so if you missed out on Friday tickets or want a slightly less packed experience, Tuesdays are your window. Tickets from ~€110.

📅 When: Tuesdays, July 7 – August 25, 2026 (8 dates) — plus his Friday residency

📍 Where: Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, Playa d’en Bossa

🎉 Es Canar: Festa de Sant Cristòfol — ~July 10 (FREE)

Right on Flamingo by Nest‘s doorstep, the little east-coast resort of Es Canar throws its biggest party of the year in mid-July for its patron saint, Sant Cristòfol (St Christopher — patron of travellers, which feels about right for a place full of them). This is a proper village fiesta: a blessing and parade of decorated carts and vehicles, ball pagès folk dancing in traditional dress, live “remember” and Flower Power concerts, paella, and street parties that spill along the seafront.

It’s free, it’s local, and it’s the kind of authentic island moment most visitors never plan for — but if you’re basing yourself at Flamingo by Nest for recovery days, you’re already here. Sant Cristòfol’s day is July 10; the surrounding weekend programme is published closer to the date by the Santa Eulària council. ⚓

📅 When: Around the weekend of July 10, 2026 (Sant Cristòfol’s day — full programme announced closer to the date)

📍 Where: Es Canar, Santa Eulària (walking distance from Flamingo by Nest)

🎵 Type: Traditional / Village Fiesta / Free concerts

🎟️ Tickets: FREE — open to everyone

📌 Status: ✅ Confirmed — annual fiesta (exact 2026 schedule TBA)

💡 Tip: Pair it with the Wednesday hippy market at Es Canar and the Las Dalias markets nearby for a full hit of east-coast culture.

💜 Purple Disco Machine at Pacha — Thursdays from July 16

Purple Disco Machine’s first-ever Pacha residency — and it’s a perfect match. The German producer behind “Fireworks,” “Dopamine,” and “In The Dark” brings his slick disco-house sound to Pacha’s main room under the Pure Pacha banner on Thursday nights. If Solomun Sundays are the deep, hypnotic Pacha, Thursdays with PDM are the euphoric, hands-in-the-air Pacha. The disco-house genre fits Pacha’s heritage like a glove — this is the club that grew up on funky, glamorous nightlife.

📅 When: Thursdays from July 16, 2026

📍 Where: Pacha, Talamanca (just north of Ibiza Town)

🎵 Type: Disco House / Nu-Disco

🎟️ Tickets: From ~€40–€60 | ticketsibiza.com

📸 Instagram: @purplediscomachine

📌 Status: ✅ Confirmed

⛵ Fiestas de la Virgen del Carmen — July 16 (FREE)

Fiestas de la Virgen del Carmen
Fiestas de la Virgen del Carmen

One of the most visually stunning and emotionally moving events in Ibiza — and it has nothing to do with clubs. July 16 is the day Ibiza honours the Virgen del Carmen, patron saint of fishermen and the sea. The celebration begins with a solemn mass at the church of Sant Elm, followed by a procession through the streets of La Marina carrying the Virgin’s statue.

Then comes the moment everyone waits for: the maritime procession. Dozens of decorated boats — fishing vessels, pleasure boats, even kayaks — form a flotilla that carries the Virgin out to open water, where a floral offering is made in memory of those lost at sea. Tourists can join the procession on regular boats — just show up at the harbour. The celebration happens at Ibiza Town, Santa Eulalia, San Antonio, Es Cubells, and Portinatx (some towns mark it on the nearest weekend rather than exactly July 16). Completely free. ⚓

📅 When: Thursday, July 16, 2026 (morning mass + afternoon/evening maritime procession)

📍 Where: Ibiza Town, Santa Eulalia, San Antonio, Es Cubells, Portinatx

🎵 Type: Traditional / Religious / Cultural Festival

🎟️ Tickets: FREE — open to everyone. You can join the boat procession from the harbours.

📌 Status: ✅ Confirmed — HIGH (fixed annual date)

💡 Tip: The Ibiza Town harbour offers the best vantage point for the boat procession. Arrive by 5pm to secure a waterfront spot. Bring your camera — the decorated boats against the Dalt Vila backdrop is one of the most photogenic scenes in Ibiza.

🌙 WooMooN at Cova Santa — July 17

WooMooN is Ibiza’s most cinematic open-air experience — part party, part ritual, part theatre. Set in the Cova Santa amphitheatre under the stars, it blends Afro-house, organic and downtempo sounds with live performers, fire, costumes and a sunset-to-late build that feels more like a ceremony than a club night. 2026 marks WooMooN’s 10th-anniversary season, running weekly from mid-May through early October — and July 17 is one of the standout summer dates.

It’s the antidote to the big-room spectacle of the superclubs: no LED walls or pyro, just atmosphere, ritual and a crowd that’s there for the journey. If you only do one “different” night in July, make it this one.

📅 When: Friday, July 17, 2026 (part of WooMooN’s weekly season, mid-May – early October)

📍 Where: Cova Santa, San José hills

🎵 Type: Organic House / Afro House / Downtempo / Live performance

🎟️ Tickets: Via covasanta.com — book ahead, it sells out

📌 Status: ✅ Confirmed

💡 Tip: Same venue as AMÉMÉ but a totally different night. Cova Santa is up in the hills with no public transport, so sort a taxi both ways before you go.

🔴 RESISTANCE at Amnesia — Wednesdays from July 22

RESISTANCE at Amnesia
RESISTANCE at Amnesia

Ultra’s techno brand RESISTANCE returns to Amnesia for a 9-week Wednesday night run that brings some of the heaviest names in techno to the Terraza and Club Room. The lineup is a techno fan’s dream: Adam Beyer (season resident across all nine dates), ARTBAT, Boris Brejcha — confirmed for his only Ibiza shows in 2026, no other venue has him — and Eric Prydz. Brejcha opens the season on July 22, then returns on August 12 and August 26.

RESISTANCE at Amnesia has a reputation for being one of the most musically serious nights on the island — this is where the proper techno heads go. The Terraza at 3am with Adam Beyer at the controls is a transcendent experience. The 9-week run ends September 16 with a closing party that traditionally goes deeper and harder than usual. Tickets from ~€40–€60.

📅 When: Every Wednesday, July 22 – September 16, 2026 (9 weeks)

📍 Where: Amnesia Ibiza, San Rafael

🎵 Type: Techno / Progressive Techno

🎤 Season lineup: Adam Beyer (all dates), ARTBAT, Boris Brejcha (ONLY Ibiza dates — Jul 22, Aug 12, Aug 26), Eric Prydz + rotating guests

🎟️ Tickets: From ~€40–€60 | ticketsibiza.com

📸 Instagram: @resistance

📌 Status: ✅ Confirmed — HIGH

💡 Tip: Boris Brejcha’s dates will sell out fast — his “only Ibiza shows” status makes them collector’s items. The July 22 opening night is your first chance. Set ticket alerts.

⛴️ Sant Jaume — Formentera Day Trip — July 25 (FREE)

July 25 is Sant Jaume (St James), and on Formentera — the tiny island a ~30-minute fast ferry from Ibiza Town — it’s the Diada de Formentera, the island’s national day and biggest fiesta. If you fancy a break from the Ibiza intensity, hop the ferry and spend the day among ball pagès dancing, craft and produce fairs, traditional “orelletes” pastries, open-air concerts and an evening of fireworks.

Formentera by day is all turquoise water and white sand — think Ses Illetes, one of the best beaches in the Med. On Sant Jaume you get all that plus an island-wide celebration on top. It’s the perfect contrast to a heavy club week.

📅 When: Saturday, July 25, 2026 (Diada de Formentera / Sant Jaume)

📍 Where: Formentera (ferries from Ibiza Town — ~30 min)

🎵 Type: Traditional / Island Fiesta / Day trip

🎟️ Tickets: The fiesta is free; you’ll just pay for the ferry (round trip roughly €40–€60)

📌 Status: ✅ Confirmed — fixed annual date

💡 Tip: Book the first ferry over and a late one back. Rent a scooter at the port to reach Ses Illetes before the day-trip crowds.

🎆 Festes de la Terra — ~July 27 through August 15 (FREE)

Festes de la Terra
Festes de la Terra

The biggest traditional celebration in Ibiza’s calendar. Festes de la Terra is roughly two weeks of festivities in Ibiza Town honouring the island’s patron saints. The build-up starts as July ends and the main programme runs through the first half of August, climbing to two major highlight days:

August 5 — Santa María de les Neus: The patron saint of Ibiza. Solemn processions, traditional ball pagès dancing, free concerts, and community meals in the streets.

August 8 — Sant Ciriac: The main event. This commemorates the Catalan conquest of Ibiza in 1235 by Guillem de Montgrí. The highlight is a spectacular midnight fireworks castle over the port (Castell de Focs), launched at midnight from the old port wall, that rivals any professional pyrotechnics show in Europe. Traditional cart parades through the old town precede the fireworks, and the port area fills with thousands of spectators. Completely free.

The fireworks on August 8 are honestly one of the most impressive things you’ll see in Ibiza all year — including the club productions. Find a spot on the harbour wall by 10pm and settle in. We cover the August 8 peak in detail in our August guide. 🎇

📅 When: Approximately July 27 – August 15, 2026 (key days: Aug 5 + Aug 8)

📍 Where: Ibiza Town (port, Dalt Vila, Parc Reina Sofía)

🎵 Type: Traditional / Cultural / Fireworks / Dance

🎟️ Tickets: FREE — all events open to the public

📌 Status: ✅ Confirmed — HIGH (annual tradition)

💡 Tip: The Aug 8 fireworks over the port are best viewed from the harbour wall near Pacha, or from the rooftop bars in La Marina. Arrive early — it gets packed.

🥁 AMÉMÉ: One Tribe at Cova Santa — Thursdays from July 30

AMÉMÉ: One Tribe at Cova Santa — Thursdays from July 30

The combination of live drums, the cave’s natural acoustics, and the spiritual atmosphere creates something genuinely different from every other night on the island.

📅 When: 5 Thursdays: Jul 30, Aug 6, Aug 13, Aug 20, Aug 27, 2026

📍 Where: Cova Santa, San José hills

🎵 Type: Afro-house / Organic House / Live Percussion

💡 Survival Tips for July in Ibiza

Pace yourself. This is the number one rule. July’s energy makes you feel invincible on night one. By night four, reality hits. Plan 2–3 club nights per week maximum, with beach days and cultural events in between. Your body and your wallet will thank you.

Book everything in advance. Tickets, taxis, restaurants — July is not the month for spontaneity. Door prices are €10–€20 more than advance, and popular nights (Calvin Harris, elrow, RESISTANCE) genuinely sell out.

Hydrate relentlessly. July highs are typically around 29–30°C (and can push into the low-30s). Ushuaïa daytime events are in direct sun for 6 hours. Water at clubs costs €10–€15, but it’s not optional — it’s survival. Drink a litre before you go out and carry water when walking between venues.

The Thursday dilemma: Martin Garrix (Ushuaïa, 5pm–11pm daytime) vs. FISHER ([UNVRS], 11pm–6am nighttime) vs. Purple Disco Machine (Pacha, midnight–6am) vs. Solid Grooves (DC-10, NO PHONES, 4pm–midnight) vs. Defected (Chinois, midnight–6:30am). Five world-class options on the same night. You can do Solid Grooves (afternoon) → Garrix (evening) → one indoor club (late night). But no more than that.

Festes de la Terra tip: The Aug 8 midnight fireworks over the port are the cultural highlight of the entire summer. Time your trip to include this date if possible — it’s free, spectacular, and followed by celebrations in the streets until dawn. 🎆
