Passion of Christ in Adeje March 29 at 12:00 Don’t miss the chance to experience this moving theatrical performance that captures the final moments of Christ’s life, passionately put together by local residents.
La Pasión has been happening in Adeje since 1995, starting out as a small community theater project.
Now in this performance, over 300 people, both amateur actors and actresses from the area, come together, and it happens every Good Friday at noon.
The theatrical performance taking place on the Grande street in Adeje is an emotional journey that tells the most significant moments of Jesus’ last week, from his triumphant entry into Jerusalem to his last supper, including the prayer in the garden, the trial before the Sanhedrin, the appearances before Pilate and Herod, the Stations of the Cross, leading up to the crucifixion and death.
You can experience this emotional show live in Adeje or catch it from the comfort of your home through live broadcasts on TV and social media platforms.

Great Procession in La Laguna
Magna Procession in La Laguna on Friday, March 29 at 5 p.m: Join the solemn procession that turns the streets into a vibrant tapestry of devotion and color, as brotherhoods parade in a scene that feels like it’s from another time.
The great procession will take place at the Sanctuary of the Most Holy Christ of La Laguna at 5:00 PM, after the transfer of the Lord Deceased to the Cathedral of La Laguna. During this event, the processional floats will parade in a catechetical order that tells the story of the Passion and Death of Jesus.
Procession of Silence
Good Friday (March 29 at 10 p.m) In La Laguna, experience the powerful silence of this procession, lit only by candles.
The Silence Procession kicks off at the Holy Cathedral, one of the most awaited moments of Holy Week in La Laguna, starting at 10 PM. All the brotherhoods and penitential guilds of the city will join in this event, accompanying the Blessed Christ in His Death. The statue will be carried on the shoulders by the Brotherhood of the Penitents of Mercy to the Parish of Santo Domingo de Guzmán, where the kiss of the feet will take place. At the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary in Valle de Guerra, the Holy Burial procession will happen at 7 PM, followed by the procession of Solitude at 10 PM.

Santa Cruz de Tenerife: The Procesión del Encuentro happens on Good Friday at 7:00 PM! It kicks off from the Matriz de la Concepción Parish and heads to Plaza del Príncipe, where you’ll witness the touching moment between the image of Jesus Nazareno and the Virgin of the Amargura.
La Laguna: The Procession of the Encounter happens on Good Friday at 4:00 AM. It kicks off from the Church of the Conception and makes its way to Plaza del Cristo, where the image of the Holy Christ of La Laguna meets the Virgin of Sorrows.
Garachico: The Procession of the Encounter takes place on Good Friday at 6:00 PM. It kicks off from the Church of Santa Ana and heads to the Plaza de la Libertad, where you’ll witness the meeting between the statue of Jesus Nazareno and the Virgin of Bitterness.
Icod de los Vinos: The Procession of the Encounter takes place on Good Friday at 7:00 PM. It kicks off from the Church of San Francisco and heads to Plaza de la Pila, where you’ll witness the meeting between the image of Jesus Nazareno and the Virgin of Piety.
La Orotava:

Glorious Encounter Procession: It takes place on Easter Sunday at 10:00 AM. It starts at the Church of the Conception and heads to the Town Hall Square, where the images of the Risen Jesus and the Virgin of the Conception meet.
Other processions: La Orotava also hosts other processions during Holy Week, like the Silent Procession (Holy Thursday) and the Stations of the Cross (Good Friday).
San Isidro:
Welcome to San Isidro, a charming little town that’s full of life! This spot is perfect if you’re looking to escape the tourist hustle and really soak up local culture.
