The International Sea Fair is a regional event of reference for the nautical and marine-maritime sector of the Canary Islands archipelago.

The fair, organized by the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, the City Council of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and the Port Authority of Las Palmas, and organized by the Concejalía de Ciudad de Mar of the city and Infecar, Feria de Gran Canaria, was held in the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

This 13th edition brought together some 50 exhibitors and 80 stands that played a leading role in the launch of FIMAR.

FIMAR, which took place from June 7 to 9 in the surroundings of the Muelle Sanapú. In the space located between the Pasarela Onda Atlántica and the Poema del Mar Aquarium.

The International Sea Fair has a new location, with a program that reinforces and expands the main attractions of previous editions.

Boat tours of the interior of the Puerto were scheduled at 11:00, 13:00, 15:30 and 17:30 on Friday 7 and Saturday 8. Sunday was at 11:00 and 13:00.

The International Sea Fair has also coincided in its development with the celebration
of World Oceans Day, on Saturday June 8: an event that fits
fully in the philosophy of the fair, built with an important informative vocation around
scientific knowledge accumulated around the oceans.

The event closed with a performance by the group Los Coquillos and a lively parade, making it clear that FIMAR continues to be an essential event for the promotion of the blue economy and maritime culture in Gran Canaria.
