Comenzamos en Los Gigantes, donde los acantilados se alzan hasta 600 metros sobre el océano Atlántico. Este impresionante escenario natural es perfecto para los amantes de la aventura y la naturaleza. Desde aquí, puedes embarcarte en excursiones en barco para avistar delfines y ballenas, o disfrutar de deportes acuáticos como el kayak y el snorkel. *Los verticales murallones que divisamos a día de hoy, son el resultado de la incesante actividad erosiva, y del efecto del oleaje, que ha ido socavando el acantilado haciendo retroceder la línea de costa y ofreciendo la colosal vista de Los Gigantes.
Para los primeros habitantes de Tenerife, el mundo acababa en el extremo oeste de la isla, allá donde se alzaba una pared de roca infranqueable. Se trataba de lo que hoy en día se conoce como acantilados de Los Gigantes.
Masca, quizás el más fantástico de Tenerife
A unos kilómetros de distancia, se encuentra el pintoresco caserío de Masca. Este encantador pueblo, con sus estrechas calles empedradas y casas tradicionales, parece salido de un cuento. Masca es famoso por su impresionante sendero que desciende por el barranco hasta el océano.
