Bus from South and North Airport Connectivity Tenerife
Let’s talk about getting around. You’ve just landed at Tenerife South or North Airport. First things first, head over to a Guagua (Bus) station if you want to travel by bus. Yep, Guagua is the unique way we refer to buses here in the Islands.

Nests Hostels also offers a transfer service from various airports straight to the hostel. Just shoot us a message at this number (also on WhatsApp +39 333 586 0275); the standard rate is €55 from north to south and from south to north. For transfers from north to north or south to south, it’s €35.

If you arrive at the South Terminal, you’ve got Médano Nest just 30 minutes away or Duque Nest about an hour away. And our gem Arena Nest Hostel is an hour and a half away.
The Guagua 415 and 408 will take you straight to Médano Nest Hostel.
If you landed at the Tenerife North Airport, you’re just minutes away from Aguere Nest and not much more from Puerto Nest. These spots are right in the heart of La Laguna, an exciting university town in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and it’s been declared a UNESCO World Heritage site!
To get to Aguere Nest Hostel, hop on bus number 20 and you’ll be there in just 15 minutes!

Titsa
Here’s the official website with the schedules for each airport and tourist spots. Google Maps usually works great, just remember that on holidays, buses run less frequently, so it’s best to check in advance!
Check out Tenerife North Airport! It’s super convenient for getting around. You’ve got lines 20 to Santa Cruz/La Laguna, 30 to Puerto de la Cruz, and the 343 Express to Puerto Cruz/Los Cristianos. Perfect for kickstarting your adventure!
Check out the Tenerife South Airport! 🛬 You’ve got options like the 10 to Santa Cruz, the 40 to Costa Adeje/Los Cristianos, the 711 Night Bus, the 343 Express, and the 415 to San Isidro/El Fraile/Las Galletas. It’s super easy to get around!

The buses are pretty impressive with their nice green color, so you definitely can’t miss them!
When it comes to payment, you can pay for each trip (one way or round trip, with card or cash), or you can grab a “bus pass” for 10 to 30 euros (daily, weekly, or monthly) that works on all routes. These passes aren’t assigned, so you can share them with friends. They’re a great way to save on travel costs if you’re planning to explore the whole island by bus. You can get the passes at any TITSA station (the “Intercambiadores”), at some kiosks, and other spots that have a sticker on the outside, but you can’t buy them directly on the bus. And if your bus pass isn’t enough to cover your last ride, you can just pay the difference in cash or with a card.
If you’re not planning to grab a bus pass, here are some prices for common trips:
San Isidro – El Medano: just 1 euro (with a 10 cent bono-bus)
Puerto de la Cruz to Santa Cruz de Tenerife: 5 euros (3.30 euros with a bus pass)
Puerto de la Cruz – Tenerife South Airport: €13 (€9.20 with a bus pass)
Puerto de la Cruz to Playa de las Américas: €13.90 (€9.15 with a bus pass)
* Prices are just a guideline and may change.
You can also grab the Titsa card (bus pass) at the airport
