On Wednesday, the 5th, get ready for one of the most iconic events: the Burial of the Sardine! Starting at 2 PM, you can check out the Sardine in Plaza Concejil, then join in the emotional Duel at 7 PM, and finally, follow her on her last journey through the city at 9 PM, wrapping up with an amazing fireworks display at the Fishing Dock.
On Thursday the 6th, don’t miss out on the cool activities celebrating our friendship with Düsseldorf! There’s a gathering of German embassies at 5:30 PM, followed by the Official Reception at 7:00 PM at the Costa Martiánez Complex.
You can’t miss the 7th of Friday for the famous “Mascarita Ponte Tacón” Marathon, where brave participants dash through the steep streets of the Puerto—running in heels! Guaranteed laughs starting at 10:00 PM, with the kickoff from the Ermita de San Telmo.
On Saturday, the 8th, the spectacular Gran Coso takes place, the biggest parade of the carnival that fills the city’s main streets with fantasy, music, and color starting at 4 PM. And if you’re a fan of murgas, you can’t miss the legendary Ni Fú Ni Fá performing at 6 PM at C.C. Martiánez!
