Playa de Las Americas Costa Adeje Tenerife, how is it? What to do?

You can cancel free of charge up to 2 days before the arrival date.

Playa de Las Americas is a splendid strip of golden sand bathed by crystal clear waters located in the south of Tenerife between the municipalities of Adeje and Arona, in the south of the island.

The area of Playa de Las Americas includes three other stunning beaches: Tierra Negra, El Bobo and Troya. Las Americas beach differs from the others for its bigger size: it is almost half a kilometer long and 60 meters wide. This artificial beach was created with golden sand that comes directly from the Sahara desert, and is one of the most important tourist destinations of the island.

What to do?

In Playa de Las Americas, located near Los Cristianos and Costa Adeje near our Duque Nest Hostel , the weather is pleasant and sunny all year long, and it is considered a perfect tourist destination for families since it offers fun activities for all ages, such as water parks, water sports of various kinds, golf, and camel riding, but also a large selection of restaurants, bars and shops.

What to do? Water activities

The water activities available include scuba diving, windsurfing, surfing, kitesurfing, and jet-skiing, but also cruises with the possibility to spot whales and dolphins, entertaining rides in yellow submarines, and trips on pirate boats.

What to do? Nightlife

Playa de Las Americas is also a great choice for young people looking for a vibrant nightlife: in fact, it is considered the ''party capital'' of Tenerife. In particular, in the area known as 'Las Veronica's Strip' you will find a plethora of nightclubs and bars, most of which are open all night long.

What to do? Siam Park

To spend a day full of fun, you absolutely must plan a visit to the Siam Park, the largest water park in Europe. The main theme of the park is the ancient Kingdom of Siam, the current Thailand. For this reason, inside the park it is possible to find white sandy beaches, tropical nature and a particular floating market reminiscent of the Bangkok one. Inside the park you can go down steep slides or surf on giant waves, but also relax and enjoy the sun or a nice Thai massage.
