Cueva del Viento is a volcanic cavity formed 27,000 years ago in basaltic lava from the first eruptive phase of the Pico Viejo volcano, located next to Teide (Tenerife, Canary Islands).
It has a length of more than 18 kilometers and three different levels full of impressive geological phenomena, such as chasms and lava terraces. The cave is also interconnected with other caves in some of its sections, such as Sobrado Cave, Belén Cave, Las Breveritas Cave and Los Piquetes Cave.
