But where does Halloween come from? The origins of this holiday date back to ancient times and are linked to Celtic traditions. Originally, Halloween was known as "Samhain", a holiday that marked the end of summer and the beginning of winter. The Celts believed that during this night, the boundary between the world of the living and the world of the dead dissolved, allowing spirits to return to earth.
