Flora de Tenerife

Despite the small size of the island, Tenerife has different types of vegetation and some unique plants that grow only here. An example are the violets of Teide, which as the name implies are characteristic in the area surrounding the great Teide volcano. Another great example is the millennial dragon that parades is over 800 years old. 
in the island there are 6 different type of ecosistem, they are:
-Cardonal tabaibal
-thermophilic forests
-laurissilva 
-Fayal brezal
-pineta 
-high mountain
